Buy Rates - How to add Fees

On the Buy Rates Page.

  1. Expand the PSP you want to add fees to.

  2. Press edit (or bulk edit using the select box/bulk edit button)

    1. “Bulk Edit” allows you to quickly bulk edit all PSP MIDs under FTD/Trusted/Withdrawals

    2. Selecting one or more PSP MIDs allows you to edit all the selected PSP MIDs simultaneously.

  3. The edit modal allows you to set the fees for the PSP Account

    Add the fees as needed

  4. When pressing “Next Step,” you will see a page where you can enter:

    1. Effective Date

      1. When initially adding a fee to a MID (no fees currently exist), PayInsight will disable the effective date field and calculate the fees automatically from the first transaction in the PayInsight Database.

      2. If editing a PSP with existing fees, it will work as follows:

        1. PayInsight will calculate the fees with the updated values on that PSP only from the specified date and onwards. This can be useful if you manage to renegotiate the fees with the PSP and want to have a trail of the previous fees and see the actual cost savings.

        2. You can then see it in the Version History Modal as a future release:

    2. Comment

      1. This section forces the user to add a note for the change, allowing for better audit trails.
